Boiled eggs are one of the most convenient, healthy foods. You can cook up a dozen and just grab and go. The problem is, for me anyway, I could never seem to figure out the perfect recipe for boiling them on the stovetop and then being able to get the skins off without destroying the entire egg. Enter the egg cooker. I’m sure the brand doesn’t matter, but I have the Elite Cuisine Egg Cooker. It holds 7 eggs at a time, and takes up very little cabinet/counter space. It also comes with different trays to make poached eggs and omelets. This little guy uses just a few tablespoons of water to steam the eggs, and the result is that the shells come off easily every. single. time. No more torn eggs, no more fighting to get the shells off. You can also time the cook to make medium and soft boiled eggs.
It might seem silly to need something like this, but as a mom of two boys that eat me out of house and home, having products that make life easier are a must!
