Before I started really working on my nutrition, I had quite a few issues going on. I had a huge dependency on sugar, I didn’t eat enough veggies, and I felt pretty terrible all of the time. But I was busy. I was a full-time student and I was working full-time, plus taking on freelance projects. I didn’t think that I had time to really focus on getting my nutrition where it needed to be. I had already started a fitness program (TurboFire) and I was following the meal plan, but I was still getting crazy cravings for sweets. Then I discovered Shakeology. For about a month I went back and forth on whether to try it or not (as a college student, I didn’t have a surplus of cash laying around), but I decided that my health was an investment worth making. So, I ordered my very first bag of Shakeology. I got the chocolate flavor in hopes that it would help to satiate my chocolate cravings, and boy did it ever! Once this stuff is blended up with some almond milk and ice it tastes just like a chocolate shake. But more than that, it’s loaded with superfoods that help boost your immune system, aid with digestion, ramp up your metabolism, and just give your body what it needs to work the way it should. Oh, and those 3:00 crashes, those are a thing of the past! I couldn’t be more pleased with how Shakeology makes me feel. No more cravings, no more afternoon crash, and a happy digestive system.
For most of us, there are huge holes in our nutrition. I love that I have the option to drink a shake every day and fill those gaps. To give my body the nutrients it needs to do everything that I put it through. To be strong and healthy.
